Dr. Namekata values listening with care and empathy to set collaborative goals important to his clients and their families. To help his clients achieve their goals, he implements therapy techniques designed to increase self-awareness and address the stressors and challenges of life. His specialties include the delivery of Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused therapies.

Individual

Dr. Namekata also work with couples to address relationship challenges. The foundation of his approach is increasing effective communication through the use of tools to promote problem-solving, increased self-awareness, and understanding of one’s partner. His specialties for couples include Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).
